Today’s Fun with Flowers Blog Hop is filled with inspiring projects that share some great ideas – we are excited to share what we’ve made and hope you’ll find great inspiration from our talented team members in this hop. After you read my post, I hope you’ll hop over to the next person on the list at the base of this post.
I’ve been working on a lot of flower cards and projects lately, so I was really excited to hop today!
I’ve been sharing and selling bookmarks by the dozens lately. Here are a few I’ve been working on for my mother-in-law’s Bible study group.I used the flower from “You’ve Got This” stamp set on the left, then on the other three, I used “Helping Me Grow” stamp set. I just penned the verse from 1 Corinthians.
I had a lovely time making these next cards. Each of them were inspired by various ideas I saw on the Stampin’ Up! blog, but I just changed a few things around. I love it when that happens…. I’m not a fan of reinventing the wheel when I don’t have to! The ruffly flower below in the bottom, left hand corner was made using the banner punch and one of the honeycomb embellishments. It started out as an experiment, and I LOVE it! After glueing down the “petals,” I took a skewer to curl up the edges of the banners to make them look more like a flower. The other two cards were very easy and fast to make, using the “Flowering Fields” stamp set from Sale-A-Bration.
Thank you for stopping by today. I hope you’ll hop along to the next stop on the blog hop, Julie DiMatteo at The Paper Pixie (I love every single thing Julie does, so make SURE you stop by and check out her blog today).
