Fun with Flowers Blog Hop, InKing Royalty, Stampin Up! blog hop

Welcome to InKing Royalty’s March Blog Hop!  Stampin’ Up!’s Occasions Catalog and Annual Catalog are filled with amazing products that help you celebrate Spring with style.  With floral stamp sets, dies and printed papers, you can’t go wrong as you have fun with flowers.  Today’s Fun with Flowers Blog Hop is filled with inspiring projects that share some great ideas – we are excited to share what we’ve made and hope you’ll find great inspiration from our talented team members in this hop.  After you read my post, I hope you’ll hop over to the next person on the list at the base of this post.

I’ve been working on a lot of flower cards and projects lately, so I was really excited to hop today!

I’ve been sharing and selling bookmarks by the dozens lately. Here are a few I’ve been working on for my mother-in-law’s Bible study group.I used the flower from “You’ve Got This” stamp set on the left, then on the other three, I used “Helping Me Grow” stamp set. I just penned the verse from 1 Corinthians.

I had a lovely time making these next cards. Each of them were inspired by various ideas I saw on the Stampin’ Up! blog, but I just changed a few things around. I love it when that happens…. I’m not a fan of reinventing the wheel when I don’t have to! The ruffly flower below in the bottom, left hand corner was made using the banner punch and one of the honeycomb embellishments. It started out as an experiment, and I LOVE it! After glueing down the “petals,” I took a skewer to curl up the edges of the banners to make them look more like a flower. The other two cards were very easy and fast to make, using the “Flowering Fields” stamp set from Sale-A-Bration.
