Welcome to our Blog Hop, Happy Holidays, and Merry Christmas to you!

We have some great ideas, inspiration, tips, resources and how-to for you during this holiday season as you move along through the blog hop.

You may just be starting the blog hop or may have come from #5 Robin L at A Home to Grow Old In on our Living with Style Blog Hop. If you get off track at any time, the full lineup below will help you move along from blog to blog so you make sure to see and learn from all of the articles featured here today.

This year, we’re having a very fabulous handmade Christmas. As I get older, the most important things to me are the simple (yet abundant) things that fill your heart with love and joy. For me, that means hand-making all of our Christmas cards for family and friends, adding special touches around our home that are handmade instead of store-bought, and also making some beautiful gifts to share with others. Today, I’m sharing just a few with you.

First, these are the sheet music angels I started making last year for a fundraiser … and have since fallen in love with! I have been making these like crazy and continue selling them before I can get ahead (which is always a good “problem” to have).

This is the small ornament size … this one will go on the tree as soon as we put it up.

Here’s one on our tree from last year with a gold satin ribbon bow.

And this is the medium size table-top angel (I’m out of large at the moment).

On Monday, I started working on our Christmas cards for this year as well. This time around, I’ve decided to make a lot of different cards instead of being a card-making machine making all of only one kind. I have a hard time choosing only one design, and after I’ve made about 5, I get bored with the design, so this works really well for me! Here are a few I’ve completed so far….

This year, I’ve been a little obsessed with various snowmen stamps. I don’t know what it is about them (maybe the lack of snow in Georgia?), but I love them!

This little Christmas card-delivering Rudolf is watercolored and I absolutely adore him!

And another watercolor …. a theme this year?

This one is the start of a mini card collection I’ll add to some gifts I’m making for students. These are also watercolored. Love!!

Because this is for one of my students, I thought that the card sentiment here was just perfect and too cute!
