In my Spring Home Tour I shared with you a few weeks ago, one of the pictures from my daughter Reese’s room was of a step stool she has next to her bed so she can get in and out easily. We actually did this project a few years ago when she was 4 years old and we had the best time.
I can be a bit of a control freak sometimes so at first it was hard for me to “let her” paint her stool however she wanted to, but I’m really glad I let go and allowed her creativity to shine through. It’s way better than I could have ever come up with!
For our supplies, we simply purchased an unpainted stool at Michael’s, used white house paint to paint the stool, and used acrylic paints for the artistic part of the stool painting.
Some of the pictures below are blurry. These photos were taken before I took some photography classes …. and before I planned to blog about the process.
