Stampin' Up! - Stampin' Pretty Blog Hop - Spring Has Sprung

Welcome to the Pals March Blog Hop!

I have started looking forward to this day every single month! Trust me, you’ll just love all the crafty inspiration you’ll find with all the blogs today! This month we are excited to kick-off Spring with our creative projects. We hope enjoy these creations and we hope Spring finds your soon!

You may just be starting the blog hop or may have come from (number 8) Debbie Mageed at Secret Stamper on the Pals Hop. If you get off track at any time, the full lineup below will help you move along from blog to blog so you see all of the amazing creations.

My specialty is actually incorporating arts and crafts (especially anything Stampin’ Up!) into events of all types and providing how-to’s for hosts to do this for themselves! But this month, I’m highlight a few fabulous cards I created that make me feel very springy and you’ll find super easy to recreate yourself! For each of these, I used either a card kit or a card and envelope pack to make things easier and faster to create (don’t you just love that?)!

    Petal Parade Spring Card

I love the flower stamped on the inside and how it mimics the front design a bit.

For me, the brad in the middle of the flower really pulls the layers together and brings your eye right where I want it to go!

When I first created this card, I felt like it was still a little “flat” on the paper, so I went back and scored the arrows as well as the heart so that it would stand off the page just a bit. It ended up being the perfect touch of dimension and texture I was looking for.

Good as Gold Simply Sent Kit Combo Spring Cards

So, I’ve pretty much become obsessed with the kits and bundles from Stampin’ Up!, but I tend to not do anything in the ideas inserts. They just get me going, I break the kit apart and rebuild with other fun and interesting papers, stamps and embellishments … and voila! With these kits, cranking out creative cards is SO easy that I ended up making three for you today. 🙂

Stampin Up Spring Peachy Keen, Washi and Good as Gold Simply Sent Card by Natalie Bradley

I used Peachy Keen stamp set with this one, papers, and Washi tape (after falling in love with the What to Washi online class!).
